Affiliated to CBSE, Delhi Public School, Mohali provides quality education from Nursery to Class X and functions on the guidelines provided by the CBSE and NCF. The curriculum has been designed to focus on the integrated development of the body and the mind. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion being vital to our mission, we ensure that all students get equal opportunities and resources to think critically and thrive as individuals and become their best and most authentic selves. Our aim is to make DPS Mohali a happy school where teaching is a pleasure, and learning is a joy. We aspire to build a school that celebrates excellence and embodies core values. Our educational programmes are complemented by state-of-the-art-facilities and resources and numerous opportunities for children to engage and excel. Lessons are devised keeping in mind the ‘Multiple Intelligences Approach’. Field trips and project work, literary, cultural, sports and I.T. activities form an integral part of the school philosophy of ‘Learning by doing’. From cross-disciplinary project based learning to Integrated learning systems, the school is in sync with the NEP 2020, thereby creating an innovative, stress free and more responsive educational environment. We have successfully implemented Competency Based Learning and Assessment tools followed by the Holistic Progress Card. We are working on several collaborative projects with schools in U.K., Bangladesh and Nigeria to give DPS Mohali a global dimension. We guide our senior students to apply for a variety of grants and scholarships that eliminate potential barriers to their chosen courses of study. At senior level the school maintains a rigorous and relevant college preparatory environment by holding talks by relevant educationists, scientists and academic counselors so that they make informed choices while choosing their streams.
