Mohali, July 26, 2024 – The much-anticipated INNOQUEST 2024 Inter-School Event was successfully held today at Delhi Public School, Mohali, bringing together young minds from various schools of the Tricity to celebrate Indian heritage and entrepreneurial innovation. The event featured two main competitions: Roots & Relic, a Quiz Competition for students from Classes IX and X, and Innovate & Elevate, an Entrepreneurship Competition for students from Classes XI and XII.

The quiz competition, themed “Indian Heritage & Culture,” saw enthusiastic participation from teams of three students each. Topics ranged from Ancient History and Art and Architecture to Festivals, Traditions, Literature, Music, Dance, and significant Events & Figures in Indian history. The preliminary written round filtered the top six teams, who competed fiercely in the final round. The first prize in the quiz competition was won by Stepping Stones School, Chandigarh, while the second and third prizes were bagged by St. Anne’s Convent School, Chandigarh.

The entrepreneurship competition, Innovate and Elevate, invited students to demonstrate their creativity and problem-solving skills. Participants were tasked with turning random items into innovative products and branding them within an hour. In the second round, they presented their products to a panel of esteemed judges, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills and ingenuity. The winners of the entrepreneurship competition were Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh (first place), Delhi Public School, Chandigarh (second place), and Shivalik Public School, Sec-41, Chandigarh (third place).

All participants received merit and participation certificates, while the top three teams in each competition were awarded exciting cash prizes and winning trophies. The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among more than 250 students from various schools of the Tricity. The event concluded with a sense of achievement and inspiration, encouraging students to continue exploring and innovating in their future endeavours, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
