DPS Mohali celebrated the completion of 77 glorious years of India’s independence with great fervour. The whole premises was lit up with the colours of the national flag as part of  ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The event featured a relay of the flag hoisting ceremony within the school premises. The ceremony took place amidst the rendition of the National Anthem. To mark the celebrations, an assemblage of events took place ranging from thought provoking speeches, heart warming poem recitation and equally amazing patriotic songs by the school choir. In accordance to the present challenges faced by our country and to redeem the glory of our motherland, the students pledged to work towards a responsible tomorrow.

The honourable Deputy Director Mrs.Reema Dewan gave her wishes to students, teachers and parents present on the occasion. She also urged the students to realize, understand and cherish our coveted freedom and work towards a progressive nation. Everyone was immersed in the spirit of patriotism and celebrated
