The students of Delhi Public School, Mohali gathered to celebrate the joyous festival of Eid-Ul-Fitr. The festival that upholds the spirit of brotherhood, love and secularism, was celebrated with great enthusiasm wherein a special assembly was conducted by the students of class IX with the objective of spreading the message of love and brotherhood. The assembly started with a heart-warming poem depicting the ‘unity in diversity’ of India.

A magnificent skit depicting the five pillars of ‘Islam’ and the significance of Id was also well-presented by the students. The dance performance on the tunes of Qawwali filled the environment with happiness and love. The spirit of Eid was well imbibed by all the students and they wished each other ‘Eid Mubarak ’.
